Kiko Alonso had 8 crunching tackles, a pass deflection and an interception in Buffalo’s 27-20 loss to the Jets-Jets-Jets. He returned the pick 32 yards. Alonso was the first Bills rookie to have interceptions in back-to-back games since former Duck Jairus Byrd did it in 2010. Last week he picked off Cam Newton.

Dion Jordan had 2 tackles and a quarterback hurry that led to an interception in the Dolphins 27-23 home victory over Atlanta. The Fins are 3-0 and travel to New Orleans next week.
Spencer Paysinger had 4 tackles for the Giants, but they lost 38-0 to Carolina to fall to 0-3.
LeGarrette Blount battered and bulldozed his way to 65 yards on 14 carries in the 3-0 Patriots 23-3 pasting of his old team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Blount also had one kickoff return for 24 yards.
Max Unger and the Seattle Seahawks are off to a 3-0 start after a 45-17 win over Jacksonville. Walter Thurmond had five tackles and a pass deflection in the win.
Bears first-round draft pick Kyle Long threw a key block on a 55-yard run by Matt Forte as Chicago melted the Steelers 40-23. The new Monsters of the Midway have Super Bowl shuffled to a perfect 3-0 record as well. They travel to division rival Detroit next weekend.
Former backfield mates Kenjon Barner and LaMichael James have yet to take a snap in the regular season. Both are sidelined with injuries but due to return soon. Good thing, because the Panthers and 49’ers have struggled to identical 1-2 records.
